FAQ
Pricing questions
Are state fees included in the price?
No. State fees are charged separately and paid directly to the US state administration. We always display them clearly before checkout — typically ~$102 for Wyoming.
What is the EIN and why do I need it?
The EIN (Employer Identification Number) is your LLC's US tax ID, issued by the IRS. It's required to open a Mercury bank account, activate Stripe, and file annual tax declarations. Included in Serenity and Integral plans.
What is an Operating Agreement?
The Operating Agreement is the internal governance document of your LLC. It defines decision-making rules, profit distribution, and member roles. Required by Mercury to open a bank account. Included in Serenity and Integral plans.
How long does LLC formation take?
Standard processing: approximately 4 weeks. With expedited processing: 5 business days (depending on state). EIN obtention adds 4–8 weeks on top.
Can I open a US bank account after formation?
Yes. With your LLC formed and EIN obtained, you can open a Mercury account (the reference for non-resident LLCs) entirely online in 1–5 business days.
Is there an annual maintenance cost?
Yes. After the first year, you'll need to renew your Registered Agent (~$120/year) and pay the annual state fee (~$60/year for Wyoming). The Form 5472 IRS filing is also required annually (~$300–500/year via a specialized accountant).
Can I switch plans later?
You can upgrade your plan at any time. Contact our team and we'll handle the additional steps.
